Simon Gubbins

Managing Director

Simon believes that truly understanding a client’s business is the key to providing the right insurance solution. With over 40 years of experience as a Broker (and a brief stint as an underwriter), there’s very little he hasn’t come across. One client summed it up best: “His empathetic approach ensures that he fully understands many issues that others have just missed or skated over.” His expertise lies in supporting SMEs with £2m–£15m turnover, professional indemnity insurance, and the construction sector.
 
 

Danny Toull

Director

Danny has spent over 29 years in the industry working for the head office of an international insurer and as a broker responsible for major multinational placements in the UK. Danny specialises in Property Owners, placing risks in domestic and international markets as well as finding innovative solutions for our High-Net-Worth clients Danny’s main interests include football, theatre & socialising.
 

Kerrie Whitefield

Account Handler

Kerrie worked in the insurance industry, both personal lines and commercial for 11 years prior to having her family and perusing a career in the NHS. She has an interest in property and has returned to insurance with enthusiasm to work alongside Danny, assisting him in management of his client portfolio.

When not in the office Kerrie enjoys spending time with family and walking her beloved Bullie Rio. She is a keen swimmer and enjoys practicing Yoga, however, also enjoys nights out with a cheeky cocktail or two!

 

Jack Stone

Account Handler

Jack has been with Robison & Co for 10 years, and in that time has progressed from admin assistant to looking after clients on a day-to-day basis. Away from the business Jack enjoys Football, Socialising with friends, as well as spending time with his young family.

 

Marie Lloyd-Crooks

Private Client Manager

Marie’s experience extends to 50 years both as an Underwriter and a Broker. Personal Lines/High Net worth Clients are her speciality. Marie enjoys problem solving and Building a Good rapport her clients. Her hobbies outside the office are, Family, especially her 3 Grandchildren. Walking the dogs in the New Forest, where she escapes with her Husband to their caravan. Cruising and Lanzarote also feature high up in her go to escapes.

 

Morgan Palmer

Accounts Administrator

Morgan has been with Robison & Co for over 2 years now covering all things Finance, Compliance, Admin and HR. Away from the office, Morgan enjoys cooking, hikes and finding new travel spots.

 

Cicely Fry

Marketing Manager

Cicely (Cece) joined Robison & Co as a Multi-Marketing Apprentice in February 2024. Drawing from her experience in social media management for small businesses to inject creativity into the team.

Since her arrival, she’s been handling all of our marketing endeavours, seamlessly handling everything from social media strategies to email campaigns and beyond.

Outside of her 9-5, Cece enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling to new places, and creative activity’s like photography, and content creation, and of course, her never ending love for all things Disney.

Raff is Simons pup, who joins us in the office most days. You’ll find Raff sleeping in Simon’s office with his giraffe toy. Raff loves walks, toys, treats, and most of all he loves a good cuddle! Woof!

John Walls

John brings a wealth of knowledge to his role at Protection & Investment Ltd, incorporating Robison & Co. With over ten years of experience at Royal Life and running his own practice, John has deep expertise in financial services. Specialising in investments and pensions, John works closely with clients to understand their specific needs and goals. His aim is to maximise growth and income from their investments. Outside of work, John is passionate about sports, especially football, tennis, and cycling. He also enjoys music and is a regular concertgoer.

Ian works for Protection and Investment LTD incorporating Robison & Co, providing a wealth of knowledge and experience in financial services. He provides independent, whole-market mortgage and protection advice. This service is available for both personal and corporate clients. Clients range from first-time buyers using shared ownership, to home movers. Later-life mortgages, including equity release, are also offered. For corporate clients, he provides finance and protection schemes. This includes private medical schemes tailored to their needs Away from the office, he devotes his time to his family, enjoys walking, the theatre and golf.
